SocMed; the "way" I "choose" my friends

Maybe this is an arrogant writing. I don't care. This is my blog, and there's only few people know about the existence.

I wanna talk about the SocMed (Social Media). You know: facebook, twitter, path, instagram, etc. I have many of them and I make them private. I won't allow "anyone" or "people" to view my profile, photographs, activities, or even tracking who's my relatives and friends (my real friend in life).

It's kinda funny when it called SocMed but we... oh not "we" but "I" (and maybe some other people) could make it "private". Can we socialized ourselves in private...? Just answer yourself... :)

In my personal experience, I feel so unconfy when "some people" had been stalking my profile, they even grab my photograps. Oh, Boy...!!! And I'm so surprised when I had found that more than 50 people followed my facebook account that I don't even know them, or "know" them in real life. I had already locked my profile, but how come that could happen...?!

So... after that, I had deactivated many of my SocMed account. I only keep one or two, just for "keeping an eye" on many "chosen" friends of mine :). Yes, I choose my friend. I keep them who really having a friend connection in my real life. Not only just to "jazz up" my friend list or timeline. I do care about their latest news, and how their lifes go on.

Let say, even in a cyber world I choose my friends, then you can imagine how choosy I am in my real life. Coz this world has getting odd and odder. That "fact" make me decide to be more bewaring about my future steps in life.

I do apologize for your inconvinience of reading this. But I do believe that "true friends" are those who could survived our "every condition" of emotion, of ups and downs that we've been through in life, never judge or slander behind our back. So please... if you just wanna mess up my "personal" life, go away and mind your own bizz...!!!

Penakluk Waktu...!!!

aku ingin menjadi

"penakluk waktu"

lelah aku dikejar-kejar waktu

dan jemu aku menunggu waktu

mengapa aku yang selalu diatur waktu?

siapa waktu?

'kan kugenggam waktu

'kan kutaklukkan waktu

2014; Let it take us by surprise...

Masih hangat. Januari 2014. Nampak tak marak cenayang ditampilkan di televisi, untuk meramalkan kejadian-kejadian yang akan terjadi di negeri ini, setahun berjalan. Atau, aku melewati tayangan-tayangan itu? Entahlah. Aku memang tak tertarik pada ramalan. Sebab terkesan hendak mendahuluiNya.

Sebenarnya gulir waktu tak pernah sungguh terpaku pada momentum pergantian tahun. Semua 'kan mengalir begitu saja sebagaimana mestinya. Keistimewaannya terletak pada euforia di kalangan khalayak. Resolusi. Dari tahun ke tahun. Hmmm... boleh juga, sebagai 'cambuk' perubahan personal menuju segala sesuatu yang lebih baik, dan menjadi semakin baik seiring gulir waktu. Insya Allah. Amin.

Melewati fase-fase kehidupan sungguh mematangkan emosi, menanamkan kesabaran dan mulai 'mengajarkan' kita untuk menjadi bijak. Anak tangga usia mengarahkan kita untuk terus menanjak naik, dan bukan turun, bukankah begitu?

Aku 'kan melangkah. Tanpa memikirkan apa yang 'kan terjadi di depan sana. Melangkah saja, sewajarnya. Mengikuti setiap jalan cerita yang telah dituliskanNya hingga ujung perjalanan hidupku kelak.
